Project: New Elementary School No.11

Elementary School No. 11 will be constructed on a site approximately ten acres in size and located within the Mission Village portion of the Newhall Ranch development project. Elementary School No. 11 shall have “core” facilities (including, but not limited to, administrative facilities, multi‐purpose rooms, restrooms, and utility infrastructure) designed and constructed to accommodate future capacity of 900 students.

Elementary School No. 11 shall include all typical and usual spaces and facilities, including, but not limited to, classrooms, a multi‐purpose room, library, teacher preparation and breakroom spaces, central administrative offices and reception spaces (which shall include, among other things, nurse/healthcare space and adequate storage spaces), restrooms, janitorial and utility spaces, outdoor hardscape play areas, covered outdoor eating space(s), an outdoor hardscape stage and assembly area, playfields, a bus drop off/pickup area, and a separate parent drop off/pick up area.

In addition, Elementary School No. 11 shall be planned, designed, and constructed to be a “zero net energy” facility. Elementary School No. 11 shall be planned, designed, and constructed to include areas, spaces, and infrastructure necessary for future energy‐conservation improvements, with spaces to accommodate charging of electric buses and other vehicles.
