Measure AVH is a $398 Million school facilities improvement bond approved by voters in November 2024 for the Antelope Valley Joint Union High School District.
The Antelope Valley Union High School District serves 23,000 students in the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale, as well as the surrounding areas. The District includes eight traditional high schools, SOAR – an early college high school on the Antelope Valley College campus, Virtual Online School for 7th-12th grade students, Academy Prep Junior High for 7th and 8th grade students, Antelope Valley Adult Education and three alternative high schools
Measure AVH Bond Funds are intended for:
• Upgrading vocational, career-tech, science, engineering, math, and aerospace classrooms/labs/technology
• Repairing roofs, plumbing, gas/sewer infrastructure, and aging systems
• Improving school safety, drinking water systems, and general campus maintenance
• Attracting and retaining quality teachers by maintaining modern facilities
